ColdFusion ships with robust printing and reporting features. When generating a PDF or printed output, ColdFusion needs access to the underlying font files in order to render correctly. ColdFusion can also determine the output types supported by each font, and if they support embedding. This is the area where we manage fonts as they apply to ColdFusion. For instance, we’ve used this section to support the display of Chinese characters in PDF documents. We downloaded the needed fonts library to the server and pointed ColdFusion to those files using this interface.
